Hasan A. Arif has 20+ years of global work experience and during his career held many senior management positions in Financial Services and Technology Management companies in the USA. He is a highly effective and results-driven Financial Services Professional with an exceptional record of advancement to senior management positions of greater complexity, scope, and responsibility. He has shown proven leadership in Private Equity and Investment Management and has successful track record of serving multi-billion dollar global Investment Management clients.

As Product/Platform leader, Hasan brings years of technology management experience for strategic deployment and optimization of complex financial product (including Derivative instruments) and E2E business processes as well. Having worked with VC firms and educational institutions previously , he also has experience with Startup due diligence as well as mentoring in accelerator/incubator. Hasan has also provided strategic guidance, QA framework and compliance related support to IDTP project for Bangladesh including globally recognized best practices of fund/transaction settlement and reconciliation.

Hasan is a collaborative and respected leader, team builder, mentor and has successfully led high performing teams that exceed business goals and customer expectations consistently. Prior to joining Startup Bangladesh Limited, he worked as a Vice President for State Street Corporation, one of the largest assets management companies in the world located in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

He has a master’s degree in Economics (policy and Planning) from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts.
