Shib Narayan Dhar is an IT systems and cloud professional with more than ten years across cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, and cybersecurity operations.

He currently serves as the sole IT administrator for Startup Bangladesh Limited, a government-backed venture capital firm, where he has spent five years as the single point of accountability for the organisation’s technology risk posture – covering Microsoft 365 governance, Entra ID conditional access, endpoint security, disaster recovery, and audit-ready compliance.

Earlier in his career he worked in infrastructure engineering with VMware, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes, and completed 230+ freelance system administration projects for international clients. He holds an MBA from the University of Chittagong and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from CUET.

Outside work, he follows emerging tech and the startup scene, and spends his free time cycling and gaming.
