Dhaka, Bangladesh | April 05, 2026 | Startup Bangladesh Limited participated in the Youth Entrepreneurship & Startups for Students (YESS) program organized by SME Foundation in collaboration with Khulna University and Khulna University Career Club (KUCC).
The program brought together more than 300 students from multiple universities across Khulna, aiming to inspire youth to pursue entrepreneurship and foster innovative business ideas through exposure to startup development and alternative financing opportunities. As part of the program, the Managing Director of Startup Bangladesh, Nurul Haque, moderated a plenary session titled: “Startup Ecosystem & Alternative Financing for New Entrepreneurs: Access, Opportunities and Experience Sharing”
The session focused on providing students with a comprehensive understanding of:
- The fundamentals of startups and the broader ecosystem
- Key stakeholders driving innovation in Bangladesh
- Funding pathways, including early-stage and growth-stage investments
- Alternative financing options available to emerging entrepreneurs
The interactive discussion enabled students to engage directly with ecosystem leaders and gain practical insights into building and scaling startups.
Startup Bangladesh also participated in the exhibition segment of the event, where various ecosystem stakeholders showcased their services and support mechanisms for startups and entrepreneurs. Through its engagement, Startup Bangladesh connected with aspiring founders, sharing information on investment opportunities, support initiatives, and the journey from idea to commercialization.
