Startup Bangladesh and SAJIDA Foundation Form Strategic Alliance to Accelerate Bangladesh’s Early-Stage Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

Dhaka, Bangladesh | July 29, 2026 — Startup Bangladesh Limited (SBL), the flagship venture capital company of the Government of Bangladesh under the ICT Division, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SAJIDA Foundation, a leading non-government organization working to empower communities, catalyze entrepreneurship, build equity, and establish enterprises for good, with an overarching vision of ensuring health, happiness, and dignity for all.

Through the partnership, entrepreneurs and impact-driven businesses supported by the Orange Corners Bangladesh Innovation Fund (OCBIF) will gain access to a series of joint programmes hosted at Startup Bangladesh’s premises, designed to strengthen business capabilities, enhance investment readiness, and foster meaningful ecosystem connections. Activities will include:

  • Founder development and entrepreneurship training
  • Investment readiness and capital-raising support
  • Investor showcases, demo days, and pitch events
  • Mentorship and ecosystem networking opportunities
