Startup Bangladesh Limited, the Government of Bangladesh’s impact venture capital platform under the ICT Division, has successfully completed its first portfolio exit through Pulse Tech Limited, marking the nation’s first successful sovereign venture capital exit and an important milestone in Bangladesh’s innovation journey.

As one of the country’s pioneering institutional venture capital investors and the only venture capital firm by the Government of Bangladesh, Startup Bangladesh views this exit as more than a financial milestone. It is a significant step toward strengthening investor confidence and showcasing the viability of venture capital as an asset class in Bangladesh. The successful exit is expected to encourage greater participation from local and international investors, accelerate private capital flows into innovative startups, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the country’s innovation ecosystem.

Since commencing investment operations, Startup Bangladesh has invested in 36 promising startups across diverse sectors, supporting entrepreneurs with growth capital and strategic guidance.
